LPCO’s Golden Party
Littleton-Colorado Libertarians celebrated the Libertarian Party’s Golden Anniversary (1971-2021) at their 2021 annual state convention. Starting off Friday night on May 21st with 2020 Libertarian candidate for President (Jo Jorgensen) talking about what she learned from the campaign. The convention ran through Sunday afternoon at the Marriott Denver West in Golden Colorado.
Other guests joining her were Vice Presidential running mate (Spike Cohen), anti-war activist Scott Horton of scotthorton.org, Gender and Sexual Minorities liberty activist Ashley Shade of ashleyshade.com, Wyoming Libertarian State Representative Marshall Burt and others for a sold out convention.
The Libertarian Party of Colorado also in coordination with Tasha Cohen held a charity fundraiser for Helping Hands for The Dignity Coalition for the homeless. For more on this great nonprofit go to helpinghandsfordignity.org.
The Libertarian Party of Colorado would like to thank Ross Kaminsky for having Dr. Jo Jorgensen on his radio show on Friday morning and the Denver Post for interviewing and covering the convention on Saturday May 22nd.
Party business was conducted on Saturday with changes to the state party’s Platform, Constitution, and Bylaws. On Sunday business concluded with elections for all 11 board positions. The Party would like to introduce the new State board for the Libertarian Party of Colorado that will serve two years 2021-2023:
1. Chairman: Wayne Harlos
2. Vice Chair: Hannah Goodman
3. Affiliate Development Director: Kyle Furey
4. Campaigns Director: Greg Lauer
5. Membership Director: Rees LaBree
6. Communications Director: Joshua Lallement
The following Directors shall serve one year 2021-2022:
1. Outreach Director: Ryan Kane
2. Secretary: Caryn Ann Harlos
3. Legislative Director: Jennifer Nackerud
4. Treasurer: Nathan Fouch
5. Fundraising Director: Daniel Lutz
