It is expected that the LPCO will have earned a National Platform Committee seat (and alternates) for the 2020 National Convention and our Bylaws state that these appointments are now elected by delegates to our state convention rather than the Board. It is not necessary to apply to be considered as nominations can be made from the floor, but many delegates will want to review applications ahead of time in order to make the best selections.
THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS MARCH 31 TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PACKET FOR REVIEW BY DELEGATES. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UP TO ONE WEEK BEFORE CONVENTION BUT THEY WILL BE TREATED AS SUPPLEMENTS TO THE ORIGINAL PACKET.
