The Office Depot at Alameda and Broadway in Denver does a superb job of printing simple postcards. Their biggest advantage is they know how to merge and print names and addresses directly on the postcard. You don’t have to print labels and stick them on the cards. Put your 3 files (message side, address side, csv file with names and addresses) on a usb drive and take it to them.
Postcards are printed on 8 1/2″ x 11″ 110 lb card stock, 4 to a sheet.
Postcard stamps are available at the main post office in Denver or online. Local post offices may not have sufficient quantities for your needs.
The message side is composed on a MS Word document, landscape mode, custom margins (top, left, bottom, and right are all 0.5), 2 columns, and 2 copies in each column. I use Garamond font and 14 font size. Layout spacing before and after should both be 0 (zero). There is enough space for 50-70 words.
The address side uses the same settings as the message side. You can find the return address image (torch with address) in one of the Communications Directors folders.
