Open Letter to The People of Colorado Heading Into 2022
Littleton- The last two years of government mandates, fights over masks, forced vaccines, freedom of movement restricting passports and threats has shown what happens when individual freedom is sacrificed in a collective majority panic of fear and a false notion of ‘the greater good.’ It has driven home the importance of all individuals having the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.

When the holiday mandates and coercive blanket vaccine push by President Biden and Governor Polis that has crushed the economy, causing countless Coloradan’s their livelihoods did not get the degree of compliance that they were hoping for. Mr. Polis heading into an election year resorted to in a somewhat positive note but condescendingly “declare the state of emergency over.” Adding “Everybody had more than enough opportunity to get vaccinated,” Polis told Colorado Public Radio on Dec. 10th 2021. “Hopefully it’s been at your pharmacy, your grocery store, a bus near you, [or at] big events. At this point, if you haven’t been vaccinated, it’s really your own darn fault.”
One of our members stood steadfast leaving these words “In September of 2021, ahead of the Biden mandate, my company changed their policy to include proof of vaccination by December, 1st. I refused to be vaccinated for my employer so I lost my job on December, 2nd. The issue with my former employer is that they mandated something that is not a one size fits all solution. Medical procedures are off limits in my mind and none of anyone’s business.”
The Libertarian Party of Colorado, calls on the people of Colorado as we head into 2022 and election year to make your voice be heard in how and who we support at the ballot box. Do not let individual freedom continue to be sacrificed for a panic of fear and attempts to have a forced central monopoly control over life. We the people can live our lives determining the risks, safeguards, weighing the outcomes and what actions to take for our self-interest, families and community free of coercion.
