Happy New Year from the Libertarian Party of Jefferson County

As we enter the new year, the Libertarian Party of Jefferson County (LPJC) reaffirms its commitment to promoting all your freedoms, all of the time. We will continue to respect your rights as a unique and competent individual and promote a political system that will allow you freedom of choice.

We reaffirm our commitment to end the manipulation of data and misinformation from government entities and unelected bureaucrats. We will continue to represent our constituents by supporting small businesses and free markets in Jefferson County.

It’s easy to get involved with the LPJC in 2022. Just go to https://lpcolorado.org/get-involved/events/ to find events in Jefferson County and across the state of Colorado.

People new to the Libertarian Party are welcome to join the LPJC’s monthly zoom meetings. The LPJC monthly zoom meetings are a great place to learn more about the Libertarian Party.

The Libertarian Party of Jefferson County ended 2021 by appointing a Public Health Advisor, Miguel Gomez. Mr. Gomez and his team will attend Jeffco Board of Health meetings and speak for the LPJC. He will host his first listening session on January 12. The public is encouraged to attend this zoom meeting to share their thoughts on all public orders issued in Jefferson County.

2022 is an election year. The LPJC is recruiting candidates and seeking activists. Anyone interested in running for office, working on a campaign, or becoming active in legislative issues is encouraged to join our zoom meetings every other month.

If you are tired of zoom meetings, the LPJC hosts a monthly face-to-face meeting at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month at the Holiday Lanes Bowling Alley in Lakewood. This meeting features a speaker, discusses issues of importance to Libertarians, and votes on issues that impact the LPJC. The public is welcome to attend but only registered Libertarians may vote at these meetings.

Think politics is going to the dogs? Maybe you’ve been running with the wrong pack. Every two months the LPJC meets at Coal Mine Avenue Brewing in Littleton to engage in a free exchange of speech. No puppy? No problem. You can still grab a beer and a bite with like-minded Libertarians.

Libertarians are the third largest political party in America. Let’s make our voice heard in 2022.
