the Libertarian Party of Colorado (LPCO), we are committed to protecting your
privacy both online and off. Whether you are using our website, sending in
donations, subscribing to Liberty Alerts, or anything else related to the
Libertarian Party of Colorado, we completely and whole-heartedly respect your
privacy.
The LPCOLORADO.ORG website will never send your computer a cookie during your
visit. Except for the Forum, wherease it is just to verify login for posts. Even
then the information is not collected. Cookies can be used to collect
information from your computer, such as name, address, phone number, email
address, etc. We would even encourage you not to fill in this information with
many products, as many websites commonly send cookies that essentially steal
this information from your computer.
Should you ever decide to send information, comments or suggestions to the LPCO,
we will NOT publish or pass on this information sent to us without your
permission.
The LPCO can not accept responsibility for any violations of this policy, should
you follow links to other websites from the LPCOLORADO.ORG website. We advise
you to check the privacy policy of that site.
The only personal information ever collected by the LPCO is what you provide us.
This information will never be given to a third party for any reason without
your permission. However, in the case of political donations and contributions
federal law requires us to obtain the following personal information: name,
mailing address, employer, occupation, and amount of contribution. In this case,
information is submitted to the Federal Election Commission if the amount
exceeds $200 in an election cycle. We do not collect information from anyone
under the age of 18 under any circumstances!
When making contributions via credit card, check, etc. except in the case of
recurring monthly payments such as the 1776 Club, the LPCO will not retain any
of this information once the contribution is processed.
